Soar

The challenge of capturing images of hawks is that they are skittish. If you spot one while driving, stopping the car results in instant flight. Today I took a different approach. I found a spot with no human habitation nearby and setup the tripod in a grove of trees next to a pasture hunting ground. I picked the spot with alignment of morning sun in mind. Twenty minutes later I was rewarded.
