In my work life I have always been involved with architectural design and construction. Educated in architecture introduced me to the visual arts and fueled my interest in the three dimensional world around me. In retirement, I now have the time and opportunity to fully explore this facet of my early endeavours.
I was born in London, Ontario and grew up in the rural countryside. Attending Carleton University in Ottawa exposed me to Eastern Ontario where I have continued to reside. My interest in sailing and the natural world continues to influence my art and sense of place. I winter in Central America and summer on Amherst Island.
To capture images that encourage respect and awe of the natural world we inhabit. In this fast paced life, if for only a moment I can inspire a sense of wonder and magic.
