Sitting quietly in my blind has become a form of meditation.
On an early morning in June I was ensconced along the shoreline awaiting the chance to capture images of our local loons. In my peripheral vision I caught movement and turned to witness a fox hunting along the shoreline. I being dressed in camouflage and tucked in allowed him to approach within 20′ before being surprised by my presence. For only seconds he stared before scampering off.
The explosive power of a snowy owl launching into flight is a special moment.
