This past summer I was graced with the presence of this magnificent animal. At the time, I was nestled along a tributary of the Salmon River Estuary waiting on Kingfishers. The herd of 15 appeared 300′ upwind to my surprise. They spent 20 minutes in view unaware of my presence.
